What is Broadcasting?

'The distribution of audio and video content to an audience via any electronic mass communications medium.'


Early Broadcasters:

BBC, PSB, Lord Reith/Rethian Values, Vulgar Commercial (ITV, 1955)

'Channel 4' came out in 1982, they brought content in and broadcasted them.

1980- 'Sky Sports' suffered massive losses until it merged with BSB to form 'British Satellite Broadcasting.'

2005- 'YouTube'- each month, more than 1.3 billion people watch more than 7 billion hours of video.


Analogue Signals:

Digital Signals:

Digital Signals are a series of two states, on (1) or off (0), there are no values in between.
